Alex Casassovici

About me

Alex Casassovici is a serial entrepreneur and investor with four exits and over $200 million raised across his ventures and token launches. He invests, advises, and incubates through Mutant Ventures, focused on AI, crypto, and space technology — working with founders and protocols on fundraising, token design and launch, product-market fit, and go-to-market.

Most recently, as Executive Director of the Fight Foundation — owning tech, product, and tokenomics for FightFi, the official UFC Web3 partner — Alex designed and launched the $FIGHT token: $183 million in presale demand (12,000% oversubscribed), day-one listings on Binance Alpha, Bybit, Coinbase, and MEXC, and Fight.ID ranked #5 on BSC with over 4 million unique wallets.

Before that, he founded Azarus, the “Web3 Layer for Streams”, backed by Kleiner Perkins, Galaxy Digital, and Animoca Brands. Azarus reached over 20 million players, distributed more than $2 million in rewards through its $AZA token, and was acquired by Animoca Brands in 2023.

Alex is a prolific public speaker with more than 30 keynotes on AI, blockchain, gaming, and sports — including TED, GDC, and Pocket Gamer Connects — and has been featured by Nasdaq and VentureBeat.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Alex is an adventurer who enjoys trail running, scuba diving, and solving puzzles. He built and led Diveboard, the largest marine citizen science platform, as a volunteer project for 14 years.
